Fernando Ligori
My name is Fernando Ligori Jr. I was born August 23, 1975 in Lansing, Michigan but I was raised and lived in Miami, Florida since I was 1 year old. I just recently moved to Snellville, Ga in March of 2007 with my wife and kids. In 1968 my family moved to the United States from Argentina, where my father played professional soccer for Boca Jrs. before getting hurt and moving to the U.S. I followed his footsteps and played professional for a while for Boca Jrs. U17 team. Once I moved back I was asked to play for the US Select team in 1992 for which I had to regretfully decline. Soccer, however has been a part of my life all along including playing and coaching for various teams in Miami.
My wife and I have now been together for 12 years and have 3 wonderful kids. Angelica which is 10, Samantha 7 and Fernando III (DJ) which just turned 1. I enjoy coaching for Georgia FC and look forward to a future in coaching.
